Envisioned as the West Coast’s premier
space center, Spaceworld Hangar One is a joint
project from NASA and the Califiornia Air & Space Educational
Foundation.
Spaceworld will be housed in the immense Hangar One (1),
one of the largest enclosed spaces in the U.S. But before construction
can begin, awareness must be generated about both the Spaceworld
project and the clean-up work needed to ready the Hangar for public
use.
To facilitate the awareness campaign, Manmade designed an identity
(2) based on the iconic form of the Hangar–a form seen
by more than 1 million people every day. The first phase of the
campaign is an informational website (3).
